At Rebound Rehab and Recovery we rely on our skills and experience from looking after clients that have ranged from elite/Olympic level athletes to the recreational exercise enthusiast, and apply that knowledge to anyone in the community to ensure we get the best possible outcomes. The perfect combination of evidence based practice and experience will help you bounce back to be your best and achieve your goals. We have also worked with a majority of the ACT’s best orthopaedic surgeons and sports physicians to get the best possible results.
Our modern open plan gym facility offers everything you need for your rehab goals. If you don’t have access to a gym, our clients will be able to access the facilities during operating hours to be able to complete their rehab program and our qualified staff will be on hand to help progress you through your journey.
Our clinic has free onsite parking. Located on Heffernan Street in Mitchell, right next to the Mitchell Shops, we have several free parking spots available and level access to the Rebound Rehab and Recovery clinic.

Qualifications:
Matt has always been passionate about sport and health. He completed his Bachelor of Science (Exercise Science) at the University of Wollongong, and after a spending several years working in the fitness industry, including gym instructor, personal training, and facilities management he went on to complete his Master of Physiotherapy at the University of Canberra. Combining his passion for exercise and helping others improve was the catalyst behind Rebound Rehab and Recovery.
Matt has a long history in Basketball, but he has also competed in Rugby League, AFL, Gaelic football, ocean swimming, trail running and distance running. His professional interests are in acute injuries, sports injuries, orthopaedic rehabilitation and improving people’s quality of life.

With a background in high-performance sport, he has competed in National level rowing, State level basketball as a player and coach, distance running, and American football, gaining a unique understanding of the demands of athletic performance and the importance of injury prevention and recovery.
With a particular interest in sport injuries, acute injuries, orthopedic rehabilitation, and promoting adolescent participation in exercise and sport, Matt is committed to empowering individuals to reach their full potential. Whether working with amateur athletes or those returning to activity after injury, Matt focuses on providing evidence-based treatment and a personalised rehabilitation plan. His goal is to help each patient move better, feel stronger, and lead an active lifestyle at any stage of life.

Jerry completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of Canberra and works in private practice with a focus on musculoskeletal and sports injuries. He is passionate about helping people return to the activities they love through a mix of hands-on treatment and tailored exercise rehabilitation.
With personal interests in volleyball and Olympic weightlifting, Jerry competes in volleyball at the men’s reserves level, giving him first-hand insight into the demands of sport and recovery. He has also worked as a physiotherapist in soccer at the men’s Division 1 level and gained further experience in rugby through a placement with the ACT Brumbies.

Brayden is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist and Exercise Scientist who loves his job because he gets to work with people from a variety of backgrounds and gets to help them to improve themselves, their health, functionality and overall well-being.
He is a strong advocate for evidence-based practice and passionately believes in taking a person centred approach when working his clients; he also prides himself on providing his clients with the knowledge, skills and confidence to help them take control of their own health.
Brayden has a background in swim coaching and has years of competing in hockey, sailing, surf lifesaving and outrigger canoe paddling. This has resulted in him having a great interest in understanding the biomechanics and the treatment of sporting injuries, particularly injuries of the shoulders and lower back.

Corey also enjoys playing a diverse range of sports. Beyond his personal achievements, coaching athletes and contributing to team growth brings him immense joy. Corey’s commitment to learning expands beyond the sports arena, propelling him to explore therapeutic modalities, deepening his understanding of remedial massage.
Currently, Corey’s focus is furthering his understanding of remedial massage as well as dry cupping and Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilisation (IASTM). Outside of his professional endeavours, he seeks adventure in 4×4 driving, camping, and fishing, cherishing moments with mates, family, and loyal dog. Embracing a well-rounded approach to life complements his dedication to sports and holistic well-being
